These projects grew out of time spent paying attention. The work is about presence, observing environments as much as subjects, and noticing when the light, place, and timing came together the way I saw it in that moment.
Don't forget the grain of sand that hold their secrets
Drone shots of Phoebe and Oden surfing a busy day at the pass. I had a lot of fun making this video, the first time filming surfers and learning to track them across the waves.
Adding the vintage elements and the heavy colour grading allowed for a creative look that paints the picture even clearer.
